I think the Dutch pledge of 18 Leopards is not going to happen. This was about the tanks our military leases from Germany and wanted to buy to donate them. The Germans didn’t want to sell those to the Dutch, so they won’t be any Leopards coming from the Netherlands.

a counterattack on Klishivka seems a good option to save Bakhmut.

Another great video, though no mention of the UK’s pledge of 14 tanks – the first country to do so.

Peskov is crazy. The M1 Abrams can hit a target while traveling over uneven terrain at 30-50 mph, and the Leopard 2 is even more advanced than the Abrams. Both tanks have advanced targeting systems. Both tanks have anti-tank and anti-air countermeasures, night vision and infrared, an auto load system that doesn’t kill the entire crew if hit, and both generally have a secondary machinegun, chaingun, FBW Guided Missile, or some other configuration. These are the best two tanks in the world, and considering what’s been happening to their tanks some of those older refit tanks will be more modern than what Russia has. They have lost most of their modern tanks. I read an article talking about Ukraine destroying refit T-80s. Some of those are 30-40 years old.

I don’t think it’s actually can be called “regain initiative”. They are just attacking. Ukraine has resources to stop them completely but prefer accumulate forces for future counter offensive.
